Welcome. Hafa Adai. Rananim. Kasehlelia. Alii. Yokwe. Mogethin. Mabuhay. Ni Hao. Konnichiwa. Annyeonghaseyo. Talofa. Aloha.
Upi Elementary School hosts many students who come from cultures and languages other than English. We have students who come from the Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau Islands, Republic of Marshall Islands, Philippine Islands, Japan, Korea, China, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands. We have students whose families migrated into Guam many years ago; they still maintain their first language and speak English.
The English as a Second Language (ESL) Program of Upi Elementary School supports its students to become more proficient with the English Language, to become better learners, and to cherish their cultural and language heritage.
The Upi ES ESL Program has teachers dedicated to this service: Mrs. Femelyne C. Wesolowski, Mrs. Marife G. Fernandez, and Ms. Anne Cummings. We invite you to learn more about our program and the students we serve.
